My name is Jemma Reynolds, and I’ve been married to Razor since 2003, but I’ve known him for as long as I can remember! We went through school together, although he was a couple of years ahead of me (even if his baby face doesn’t show it!), so it’s been quite a ride for the last twenty-something years! As well as being a mum to two of our own children, we also have a foster son and now two gorgeous foster granddaughters too! Razor’s passion for helping youngsters is contagious, from young 17-year-olds coming through Parachute Regiment training Depot in the UK, to the New Zealand Army recruits he’s trained since our time here, now the ones here in our own community who need that little bit of help and guidance. It was an easy decision to come on board to help him with the funding that he needs to keep on doing what he’s doing, as well as keeping him in order with his paperwork, which is a full-time job in itself, haha! All of my working life has been in administration and office management, so moving into the role of General Manager full-time means I get to use the skills I have, but also getting to help and see first-hand the difference we can make in these young people’s lives!
When I’m not working with Moral Compass or being a taxi for small people, you will normally find me helping out with the local mums group or serving at our church! I love connecting people, and always keen for a coffee and to be that listening ear for the women in our community who need it!
